During the meeting, invited guests presented their knowledge about to the promotion of sustainable coastal angling tourism in Poland and creation of local tourist products, project CATCH case studies as well as benefits and potential of developing sustainable angling tourism in the Western Pomerania region.
During the meeting two panel discussions were held under the theme “Sustainable sea fishing – assumptions, examples and perspectives in the Western Pomerania region and “Environmental conditions of fish stocks used in fishing in the aspect of sustainable management”.
The CATCH project has been identified by the participants of the meeting as necessary in area of regional development and good relations between local stakeholders (angling associations, tourist organizations, travel agencies, municipalities, scientific centers and professional organizations of fishermen).
