On Tuesday 8th of August a workshop between the Lead Partners of the two Interreg South Baltic projects /CATCH /and /Fish Markets /took place at the University of Greifswald, Germany. The aim of the meeting was to identify overlaps and synergies that bring benefits both during the project lifetimes and beyond. The overall objective of /Fish Markets/ is to establish smaller and bigger fish markets in the partner countries Poland, Lithuania and Germany to promote regional fish products in a traditional way and such to stimulate tourism. Within CATCH a cross-national promotion of coastal angling is aimed at to establish sustainable angling tourism in economically weak regions.
The Lead Partners of both projects first met at a workshop on /Tourism Cooperation Baltic Sea Region /held by the /Ministery of the Interior and Europe Mecklenburg-Western Pomeranian/ in Rostock, Germany. Now first touch points could be identified in the bilateral workshop and will be specified as the projects evolve.
