The project CATCH was presented at the ITB Berlin (Germany)

Sustainable tourism in coastal regions was one of the topics at the ITB Berlin – the world’s biggest tourism fair. Hence the University of Rostock and EUCC-D presented the project CATCH at the Pow-Wow for Tourism Professionals.

From March 07^th – 11^th the world’s biggest tourism fair took place in Berlin. About 10.000 exhibitors from 186 countries presented their destinations and services. All in all 110.000 professional and 60.000 private visitors gathered information about current touristic offers and developments.

The Pow-Wow for Tourism Professionals focused on sustainable tourism in coastal regions. Besides other interesting talks and events about coastal issues and sustainable tourism, a presentation about the project CATCH and sustainable coastal angling tourism was part of this inspiring event.

The next ITB will take place from 6^th – 10^th March 2019.
