WHAT IS IFOMC?
The International Fisheries Observer and Monitoring Conference (IFOMC) is the main international forum for working and addressing issues on fisheries observer programmes, emerging monitoring technologies, and fishery dependent data collection.

The 9th edition of this conference will be held in the city of Vigo (Spain) from the 11th to the 15th of June 2018. Since 1998, this conference has been the only one of its kind to specifically address issues relevant to observer programmes, and this will be the first time that such an important event will be held in Europe.
